I initially drew this as a possible image for RealmsCon's [link] convention guide, but that was before I fully understood what it was that they were doing with the thing.
But I figured that I would keep this around anyways as I like it and am kind of a fan of Realm, the convention's mascot.  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Any way, i love the stars in the background, and the hand bending while holding the charm, so very good. The hair I must admit is my favorite of all of it. its not too shiney, and not dull!

btw how did you do the clouds in the background? Pattern? render? Picture? Brush? they look awesome!

Actually...there's this brush in photoshop (all version CS and up) that looks like a sort of non-descript bush leaf (not the maple leaf, the other one). If you set the flow for it to low and the set the scattering on it to like... insane, then make the brush super huge. It'll produce a soft texture like clouds after about 15 passes.

It doesn't do squat for those puffy clouds that you sometimes get on sunny days, but it works great for an undertone for storm clouds.
