This prompted me to go on facebook and ask everyone what I should draw for the contest. Here's that conversation:
-------------------------------------------------------------------- Me: Yeah... I'm going to enter a quick art contest. Gimme an idea as to what to draw (they're judging on use of mediums, not theme). Lynn: bottle caps *StephanieChateau: Birds *StephanieChateau: raptors *StephanieChateau: raptors vs. sharks Me:... I never drew a shark in a bottle-cap bikini before... Alex: Draw about living cabbages! Lynn: HAHAHA Me: Okay... so rapter vs shark wearing bottlecap bikini amongst living cabbages... I can do that. XD --------------------------------------------------------------------
So I drew this using only a ballpoint stick pen, 2 sharpies, and a set of 5 BIC highlighters.
The browns in the image came from blending the highlighters. As proof, I recorded myself drawing this image. The video for this can be found by clicking on this [link]
Well... They were one of the mediums we were allowed to use. I wanted to do the text bubbles with them, but unfortunately, I didn't have any so I just used highlighters.
Oh man! I wish I was that talented! I'd be like Willard Wigan or something.
For the record, I didn't think you were being sarcastic. Any rebuttal on my side was just to try and clarify that I didn't use a sticky note for any part of this weirdness. I drew it on computer paper.
I posted the list from the contest into as a means of informing anyone that stumbles upon this in the future. I'm sorry for the confusion.
Congratulations on winning that by the way! Your piece is beautiful!
its so random I would love to read a short story about this
... I just don't want to write one. X'D
